Beauty school marked the moment everything finally aligned for me – one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I fell deeply in love with hair, not only the act of styling, but the creative vision behind it. Editorial work, in particular, ignited my passion for the industry. Discovering a form of hairstyling that merges my love for fashion with my love for hair was the moment I knew I needed to shape my career around it.

My first true taste of the editorial world came during New York Fashion Week boot camp at school. I still remember the butterflies I felt while Miss H taught us styles on mannequins. Just one week later, I walked backstage at my first fashion week show and realized this was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

That first show led me to meet lead hair and makeup stylist Mari, who took a chance on me and invited me to work one-on-one with him at another fashion week event the following week. From there, he brought me onto his team with iCu Network, marking the beginning of my journey working over ten New York Fashion Week shows in just one year.

Mari taught me far more than technique – he showed me how to move confidently, creatively, and professionally in high-pressure editorial environments. When self-doubt crept in, he’d give me a quick “get it together” pep talk and send me right back in with another model. Those moments still ground me today.

After graduating, passing my boards, and completing New York Fashion Week, I began my apprenticeship at one of NYC’s top salons, Kinhouse. There, I continue my education among leading stylists serving clients from celebrities to everyday New Yorkers.

Now, I’m excited to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to work as a stylist for Los Angeles Fashion Week this March – a surreal milestone that began with fashion week boot camp at Long Island Beauty School.

I was incredibly fortunate to attend Long Island Beauty School and learn from teachers like Miss Meredith, Miss Lisa, Miss Charmaine, and Miss Shawna. They challenged me to think beyond limitations. When I shared my dreams of being the next Chris Appleton, they didn’t dismiss or laugh-they encouraged me to imagine a future that went even further.

I’m committed to evolving as a stylist while contributing meaningfully to the fashion and beauty industry. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s next.
