Supporting Hope Through St. Baldrick’s Foundation

One of the most heartfelt traditions we proudly continue is our partnership with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization committed to funding childhood cancer research. 

For the past three years, LIBS students and staff have volunteered their time and talents to support children and families facing unimaginable challenges. 

Each year, around St. Patrick’s Day, our team visits a local high school where the community comes together for a powerful event: head-shaving in solidarity with children battling cancer. 

It’s more than a fundraiser—it’s a moment of courage, unity, and love. Watching young participants take such a bold step reminds us of the strength that exists in community. 

These moments stay with us. They reflect what LIBS is truly about: using our skills not only to transform appearances, but to uplift hearts. 

Inspiring Young Leaders Through Girl Scouts

At LIBS, we also believe in planting seeds of confidence and self-care early. 

On February 2nd, we had the joy of welcoming two to three Girl Scout troops to our campus for a special day of learning, connection, and inspiration. 

During their visit, our students had the opportunity to guide Girl Scouts—some as young as 7 years old—through important conversations about: 

  • Daily hygiene and wellness 
  • Healthy self-care routines 
  • Confidence and personal growth 
  • Building positive habits for life 

It was a wonderful reminder that education is most powerful when it is shared. We were proud to be a place where young girls could feel encouraged, supported, and inspired by future beauty and wellness professionals. 

Celebrating Wellness at the Beauty & Wellness Show

LIBS is also proud to represent our community within the greater beauty and wellness industry through events like the Beauty and Wellness Show New York. 

This exciting gathering brings together educators, professionals, and wellness-focused organizations to celebrate innovation, empowerment, and the future of the industry.
