Frank Pappacoda Jr.
Frank Pappacoda Jr.Co-Owner and Director, Hempstead Campus
Frank Pappacoda Jr. is a co-owner as well as a director of the Long Island Beauty School’s Hempstead Campus. In the role as director, Frank manages a team providing a top education in all aspects of Cosmetology. Being a second generation Cosmetology school owner, Frank has over 10 years experience in the field. Before joining Long Island Beauty School, Frank attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Administration. Passionate about Cosmetology, Frank is able to provide educational services that will help students obtain their careers in the field of Cosmetology.
Linda S. Miller
Linda S. MillerDirector of Education, Hauppauge Campus
As a licensed Cosmetologist, Esthetician, and Educator, Linda Miller has been in the Beauty Industry for over 35 years. Beginning her career as a Nail Tech she quickly added Skin Specialist and Cosmetologist to her areas of expertise.

After working for several years as a stylist, makeup artist, and skin specialist she opened her own salons. Finding that she really enjoyed helping new stylist grow and develop their craft she returned to school to continue her education and became an Instructor teaching for a cosmetology school. It was then that she was invited to serve as an academic evaluator for the National Accrediting Commission for Career Arts and Sciences.

Today she serves as the Director of Education for Long Island Beauty School in Hauppauge.

Yvonne Bray
Yvonne BraySr. Educator, Hauppauge Campus
Our evening Supervisor/Sr. Educator, Yvonne Bray, started her career with Long Island Beauty School in 1999. She holds a license in Cosmetology and Nail Technology, and is a New York State Board Examiner. Yvonne strives to become a better educator by continuing her own studies, even receiving her Milady Master and Advanced Master Educator Certifications. “I love to teach. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how long you have been teaching, you can always learn something new”
Christine Cotto
Christine CottoLead Educator, Hauppauge Campus
Ms. Christine is our Lead Educator at LIBS. Before finding her true passion for education, she experienced life as a beauty professional, working for high profile clientele, special events, and fashion shows. “Being able to share my experiences to inspire others to pursue a career in the industry that has opened many doors for me is what I found most rewarding.”

Tara Maccio
Tara MaccioEducator, Hauppauge Campus
Ms. Tara is a NYS Cosmetology Instructor, with over 10 years experience working behind the chair. She has continued to work on her skills through continuing education, mastering in color and styling. Supporting other stylists in strengthening their knowledge and skills is what has inspired her to become an instructor and to guide future professionals along their journey.

Diana Mirasola
Diana MirasolaEducator, Hauppauge Campus
Ms. Diana has been an instructor at Long Island Beauty School for over 40 years. She has taught all aspects of cosmetology to numerous students that have graduated and entered the industry themselves. She has a long-standing passion for education, which is not only seen through her students’ successes, but also through her own continuing education, even earning her Master Educator certification.

Barbara Escobar
Barbara EscobarFinancial Aid, Hempstead Campus
Barbara came to us from a hair care company which increased her passion in the Cosmetology field. She joined our Long Island Beauty School, Hempstead Campus, in 2006 to continue her journey in the beauty industry. She comes from a family of NYS licensed Cosmetologists which include her Mother, a 1960’s Graduate of Grace Beauty School, and Daughter, a 2009 Graduate of a High School Beauty Culture Program.

Her customer service, communication, and bilingual skills assist aspiring beauty enhancers to fund their education. She advises prospective, current, and graduating students in the principles of their responsibilities, and helps them know and understand the importance of their options.

In her spare time, Barbara loves to spend time with her two children and four grandchildren. She recently learned the art of crocheting and loves creating new things for her family.

The exhilaration of fast cars is her euphoria.
