Frank Pappacoda Jr. is a co-owner as well as a director of the Long Island Beauty School’s Hempstead Campus. In the role as director, Frank manages a team providing a top education in all aspects of Cosmetology. Being a second generation Cosmetology school owner, Frank has over 10 years experience in the field. Before joining Long Island Beauty School, Frank attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Administration. Passionate about Cosmetology, Frank is able to provide educational services that will help students obtain their careers in the field of Cosmetology.
Laureen ClarkDirector, Hauppauge Campus
Mrs. Clark has been in the school business since 1985. She started her journey as the Bookkeeper, Financial Aid Representative and Director since 1990 for the Wilfred Beauty School. Since, 1999 she has been the Director of the Long Island Beauty School in Hauppauge. “I have a great passion for this industry, and I have seen so many great changes over the years. I have seen success and financial accomplishments that are life-changing for students in our field, and it is very rewarding. There is no greater feeling than seeing a student start and complete the course.
Cynthia LaTorreDirector, Hempstead Campus
Cynthia LaTorre began her journey here at Long Island Beauty School in 2003 as a student. She was a recipient of the 2003 Joe Francis Hair Care Scholarship. In 2005 she accepted the position as the Admissions Representative. Her dedication to help others, passion for the Cosmetology Filed is all the driving force she needs. In 2008 she received the Sal Pappacoda Memorial Award Employee of the year. Recently Ms. Cynthia was promoted to the Director of our Hempstead Campus which she gladly accepted. She has been a part of our family for over 10 years.
